After 5 years, it still works like a robot! What can you ask for
I purchased this washer in 2003 and liked it very much. After we relocated and moved into a big house, I still kept it because it saves water, enviroment friendly and washes prtty well. I thought it would cover its own cost after 2 or 3 years of usage, and glad to see it's as strong as the beginning by 2008.

Suitable for house use!
This kind of washer is very suitable for personal or house use. The volume is not too big so one can keep it in bathroom or kitchen (it doesn't leak if the outgoing waste water is treated properly near sink). If you do not like the dirty public washers, or you are tired of using quarters for washing times a week, this is absolutely a great choice! By the way, you need sunshine to dry the clothes since it can just dry your clothes by rotating.

So far So Good!
I have had my Haier HLP21E for about a week now...I got it online for about $240 (including shipping). The installation was a little bit tricky due to the akward diagrams on the manual. Luckily they have a 24 hour technical support 800 #. The first time I ran the machine it leaked a tiny bit...but that stopped by itself the next day. I have used the machine for about 6 days in a row and it seems to work perfectly now. There are a few quirks with the machine. The water temperature is controlled by the hot/cold handles on the sink. The washer needs to be fairly close to the faucet and sink because the hoses are not that long. I also have to use the handle of a heavy beer mug in order to weigh down the drain hose in the sink. Unless you have a dryer, the clothes need to be hung up to dry (I dry them on my shower curtain rod and most stuff dries overnight). The good part about the washer is that my clothes come out clean and smelling great. I no longer have to haul all my laundry downstairs to the laundromat across the street. I'm also saving 3 bucks a load, which is what I used to pay at the laundromat. So far I really like this little machine! I think it may end up being the best purchase I've made in a long time.

Great mini washer for apartment
I read a lot of reviews from different sites about this product. There are some reviews saying it is hard to install so I didn't make my decision until this July. I got this machine from Amazon a few days ago. I read the instruction carefully before installed. The instruction and the product indicated how to place the plate correctly onto the bottom. This machine is perfect for 2 persons. The clothes dry easily because the spin is strong enough. The machine is not very noisy, and understand it should have some kind of sound when it washes or spin. I used the box which came with this machine to cover it because I don't want my apartment manager knows, and it help a little bit on the sound.
I lived at the 3rd floor and my apartment doesn't have laundry. It saved my life a lot.
At the beginning, I thought that it would deliver by UPS but it was not. I tracked the package everyday to make sure I have someone standby to receive the package because it is a heavy case, over 60 lbs., I didn't want it returned. When I tracked the package was arrived the city, the shipping company will call or email you to contact them to arrange the delivery, I was so happy with it.

LOVE IT!
I live in a second floor apartment with a young toddler in a building that does have one washer and dryer, but are neither very good and cost a total of $2.50 for one load. I bought this in the hopes that it will relieve me from having to run downstairs frequently, leaving my little one alone.
I have had this for about two months now and I absolutely LOVE IT! Sure it holds less, sometimes it can be noisy during a spin cycle for a heavier than normal load for maybe 10 SECONDS at the most, but regardless it has been one of THE BEST purchases I've made. It has really simplified my life and has allowed me to keep my child under watchful eye. I've no leak issues, instructions were easy to follow, and an easy put together. LOVE the easy pop on and off hose adapter thingy too. The only very minor issue I take with it, is the spout where the water comes out...if I already have the water going full blast from the faucet, waiting for me to hit the button to begin filling, the sponge located inside the spout can be pushed out by the rush of water. However, if I am paying attention , it usually doesn't happen. It's an easy fix though if it does, just push it back in.

A can't do without item!
I got my little washer a few weeks ago, And could not be more pleased. I've used compact washers in the past, while living in apartments, but found them to be expensive, and most of the time you must purchase both washer and dryer. This little machine washes just about everything I need, and drip drying is no problem because the spin cycle really does it's job. I kept putting off ordering my washing machine because I just couldn't believe that it would work so well. Now, I could kick myself for not getting it sooner. My neighbor has seen it and has ordered one already. No more spending my days off from work at the laundry mat.
